Hi there. It’s Tobi Crawford here with a beautiful and simple friendship card. On November 11th we celebrate Remembrance Day in Canada, so in honour of that day, I used a poppy stamp. As a Canadian I will always think of a poppy as symbolic of Nov. 11 (Flanders Field etc…) but it is such a beautiful flower on it’s own. I added a pale wash of watercolours in the background, and coloured the poppies with Copics using the “no-line” technique. I think it really made the flowers stand out. The black twine […]
It’s Tobi here, and today I’m sharing a little treat bag! It’s fun to switch up projects instead of cards-cards-cards. I find it boosts my creativity when I create “projects” and it inspires me to think out of the box. This is a simple little treat bag that would be perfect for a teacher, cat-lover, or anyone who needs a kind word! I punched holes right through the bag so the contents would stay in. The twines look so pretty!!
Hello!! This is Amy here with another fun project featuring SRM Stickers and bakers twine from The Twinery. Today I am sharing a quick card and gift bag that you can easily put together using some stickers and twine. I used a soon to be released in limited supply bakers twine from The Twinery at the top of my projects and then stickers from the We’ve Got Your Sticker/Happy, Labels by the Dozen/Bright Blank, and Sticker Stitches from SRM Stickers on my bag and card. Here is a closer look at them both….. I just […]
Hi, it’s Tobi Crawford here, and for today’s post I decided to get messy and create a mixed media tag – I hope you like it! It all started with tag sprayed with an orange ink spray, and a tan/light brown. After the inks dried I spread white modelling paste on the tag, and added a cluster of flowers: Touches of Gold Shimmer twine were used in the cluster and of course, on top! Thanks for stopping by!!
Hi there! It’s Tifany here and it’s no secret that I love using twine. I use it for crafting, of course, but I also love to use it for quick and easy jewelry. (You can see some past jewelry projects I’ve done with twine here, here, here, and here.) I love using The Twinery’s twine for jewelry because it is so soft and lightweight, and it adds a great pop of color. Recently I was looking for a last minute addition to my outfit, so I simply grabbed my spool of Solid Mandarin twine and […]
