Spring

Hi.

Hi. I’m so glad you are here!   It’s Tifany here and today I wanted to share this card featuring a few of my favorite things – mason jars and twine…and (stamped) flowers.  I love using The Twinery’s twine to jazz up real mason jars, and I wanted to give the same feel to this mason jar stamp. Rather than wrapping my twine around the entire card as I often do, I just pierced holes in the card around the rim of the stamped mason jar and threaded some Solid Lilac twine through the holes. I […]

Quick & Easy Garden Markers

Hello!  It’s Tifany here from Ink Blots by TRD and today I wanted to share these quick & easy (& cute!) garden markers with you.  I started by taking some craft sticks and snipping one end to a point with some heavy duty scissors. (Please don’t try this with your standard pair – it will surely throw them out of whack.) Once I had the points completed,  I got out my stamps and ink. I stamped each stick with a single large letter (for example: ‘r’ for rosemary), but you could easily stamp a whole […]

Bloom and Grow!

Hello!!  This is Amy here to share a great treat container for spring!  The warmer weather has sent me to my craft room in a frenzy to create spring themed projects like this one below… I used my Silhouette to cut out THIS file for the bag and THIS file for the flower.  Behind the flower, I added some Peapod bakers twine and tied the bag up with some Cantaloupe bakers twine.  Here is another look at the corner with the flower on it…. I am anxiously awaiting the flowers to come up on my […]

Easter Treat Bags

Hi there! It’s Tifany here from Ink Blots by TRD. Easter is almost here and I just love to celebrate such a joy-filled holiday.    In our family we try to remember that Easter isn’t about eggs, bunnies, or candy, but about the fact that our Lord was raised to life and that He lives! (And we are certainly thankful that He gave us eggs, bunnies, and candy to enjoy.) These decorated bags are a simple reminder – and as a bonus they hold a little treat. Each treat bag is topped with a paper doily […]

Machine Cording with Twinery Twine

Couching is an embroidery technique in which yarn or other materials are laid across the surface of the ground fabric and fastened in place with small stitches of the same or a different yarn. You can couch down Twinery twine the good old fashioned way, or you can get a handy little cording foot for your machine and sew away! I made a few fun St. Patricks day themed bar towels and will share with you some tips and tricks on making your own.  Supplies: Twinery Twine Cording Foot for your sewing machine Thread Disappearing Ink […]
