Take A Hike

Did you know it’s National “Take A Hike” day?  This time of year a walk in the woods is a feast for the eyes.  The colorful foliage in every shade you can imagine looks amazing!  If you’re lucky you might just catch a glimpse of some wildlife too! This Graceful Stag die surrounded by all the beautiful colors of nature seemed like just the thing for Take A Hike day!   I started with a panel of cardstock that was just a little bit bigger than the window opening of the die cut.   I […]

Cool Cat Treat Bag

It’s Tobi here, and today I’m sharing a little treat bag! It’s fun to switch up projects instead of cards-cards-cards. I find it boosts my creativity when I create “projects” and it inspires me to think out of the box.  This is a simple little treat bag that would be perfect for a teacher, cat-lover, or anyone who needs a kind word!    I punched holes right through the bag so the contents would stay in. The twines look so pretty!!

Party Owls

It’s owl party time.  Isn’t this treat box so cute with matching twine to tie it together.  I used my Silhouette to cut out this adorable owl box and used some fall Doodlebug papers.  Be sure to check out these and so many more awesome colors at The Twinery store.  The colors that I used are Solid Peapod, Solid Cappuccino, Marigold and Mandarin.  I love that there are so many colors to choose from and I never have a problem matching the twine to my project.   Hugs, Anita

Purr-fect Kitty

I used the Solid Cappuccino bakers twine as a small ball of yarn and also for a play string hanging from the title and journaling block.  My kitties were cut with my Silhouette cameo and some cat files from […]

Grandparents’ Day Gift Box

Happy Labor Day to those who celebrate it.  Anita here today with a gift box that I made in honor of Grandparents’ Day which is September 13th.  I love these paper boxes and adding twine in the detailing just takes everything to another level.  I wrapped the fishing pole line with some Solid Cappuccino twine. Be sure to hop on over to The Twinery store and get yourself some of this yummy color.  It’s perfect for the upcoming fall and early winter holidays.     Here is a close up of the fishing pole. […]
