Hello!! This is Amy here sharing a Thank You card that would work for any occasion. I used more of a fall themed color scheme, but you could use any colors to make this work. I love having thank you cards on hand for when I need them. I don’t think there is enough ways to say “thank you” and this time of year is a great time to give thanks to all that take part in your life. I used the Solid Natural bakers twine to wrap around the card several times. Here is […]
Hi there. It’s Tobi Crawford here with a beautiful and simple friendship card. On November 11th we celebrate Remembrance Day in Canada, so in honour of that day, I used a poppy stamp. As a Canadian I will always think of a poppy as symbolic of Nov. 11 (Flanders Field etc…) but it is such a beautiful flower on it’s own. I added a pale wash of watercolours in the background, and coloured the poppies with Copics using the “no-line” technique. I think it really made the flowers stand out. The black twine […]
Ooooh…isn’t it getting beautiful outside? The leaves are changing colors and the fall weather is finally starting to break through the heat. When I think of fall…I think of food. (Or maybe I just always think of food.) And what is a good meal without some cute decor to spruce up the table? Today I wanted to share these cute napkin ties that double as placecards for a fall meal: As I was walking through a craft store, those giant wooden buttons just screamed at me to make something with them, and I […]
Hello there!! This is Amy here with a card to celebrate Autumn!! I love this time of the year. I can’t decide if it is the cooler sweater weather or the changing of the leaves that is my favorite, but I just love everything about this season…..except that it seems too short sometimes. I love to create projects for fall, too like this card……. I used a background stamp to add texture to the card base and then cut out pumpkin images with my Cricut. I then added some ink to the die cut images […]
It’s Tobi here, and today I’m sharing a little treat bag! It’s fun to switch up projects instead of cards-cards-cards. I find it boosts my creativity when I create “projects” and it inspires me to think out of the box. This is a simple little treat bag that would be perfect for a teacher, cat-lover, or anyone who needs a kind word! I punched holes right through the bag so the contents would stay in. The twines look so pretty!!
