I Melt For You

Hi there! It’s Tobi Crawford here with a fun summery card… Nothing says “Summer” like ice cream and pretty colours!      I started with the patterned paper (scallops) and got my colour scheme from that!  I used Hero Arts layering stamps that gave the ice cream and the cones that realistic effect.    The colours I used are:  Seaweed, Strawberry, and Flax.

Rainbow Hearts

Hi everyone, it’s Tobi Crawford here with a rainbow-inspired card. It’s funny but I consider my favourite colour to be RAINBOW.. Does that make sense? In so many of my projects, whether it’s cards or mixed media, the rainbow seems to rear its beautiful head and it’s kind of ironic being that I’m an all-black wearing alternative-type person, but whatever… The Rainbow is universally loved and it goes with everything!!  For my card I took a piece of 3×4.25 cardstock and wrapped twine around it in ROY G BIV order. 12 rows/per colour was the magic number… Just a […]

A sweet treat for Valentine’s Day

Hi there!  It’s Tifany here from Ink Blots by TRD and today I’m sharing a delicious treat with you!   Okay, it’s not easy to share homemade, chocolate-dipped peanut butter balls through the internet…but I can at least share the recipe with you. (And the recipe makes plenty to share with friends and neighbors.)  You can find the recipe HERE.  I don’t pretend to be some master chocolatier – these aren’t the prettiest things. (In fact, my friends and I call them my “peanut butter blobs”.)  But they sure do taste good! Once you’ve got all […]
