Earth Week/Up-cycling with Paper Beads

Hello!!  This is Amy here with a fun Earth Week project using old magazines and up-cycling them into paper beads for bracelets.  To make these up-cycled beads, first you need to get some magazines.  I tried to find some with colorful pages/ads. I then cut the pages lengthwise to make some long wedge-shaped strips.  To make them relatively uniform in size, I cut the widest part of the strip about 3/4 inches and then set them at an angle in my paper trimmer to make them get thinner toward the bottom.
