National Chocolate Cupcake Day

Hi Everyone: Anita here sharing an easel card that I made for National Chocolate Cupcake Day.  Who knew??  What a fun day to celebrate.  Wish that I was eating  real chocolate cupcake.  I used some yummy The Twinery twine to accent my cupcake wrapper and pull the whole project together.  This would be a fun pick me up card for a friend.   Hugs, Anita

Happy Fall!!

Have you noticed?  Fall is in the air!  We’re celebrating the change of the season all week at The Twinery! We’ve got gorgeous shades of green. red, orange, yellow and brown twine (just like the foliage changing colors) for all your projects!    I started with a die cut background of colorful dots in fall colors.     Sometimes it gets tricky trying to decide what color twine to use when you have lots of other colors to compete with.  That’s when I’m reaching for the neutrals.  This time I used Gold Shimmer Twine to […]

Autumn Greetings

Hello there!!  This is Amy here with a card to celebrate Autumn!!  I love this time of the year.  I can’t decide if it is the cooler sweater weather or the changing of the leaves that is my favorite, but I just love everything about this season…..except that it seems too short sometimes.  I love to create projects for fall, too like this card……. I used a background stamp to add texture to the card base and then cut out pumpkin images with my Cricut.  I then added some ink to the die cut images […]

Happy *Canadian* Thanksgiving!

Hi there! It’s Tobi here (your Canadian Twinery DT member living in China!) and I’ve learned a little something about our special day:  From 1931 to 1957, the date was set by proclamation, generally falling on the second Monday in October, except for 1935, when it was moved due to a general election. In 1957, Parliament fixed Thanksgiving as the second Monday in October. The theme of the Thanksgiving holiday also changed each year to reflect an important event to be thankful for. In its early years it was for an abundant harvest and occasionally for a […]

Sweet Little Puppy

Hi there, it’s Tobi Crawford here, and I sure do love my pups!! I have two that are currently living with me and they are the light of my life – especially when I get home from work!! Needless to say I’ve got quite the little collection of dog-themed stamps going and this card uses one of my fav’s:     I kept this card really neutral with a POP of colour to keep it on the masculine side. One thing I love about incorporating twine into my cards is it can help to tie-in […]
