Fall is in the Air

I hope that everyone is enjoying the colors of fall.  I love using my twine for different things and used it for my background.  Think of the color combinations that you could make.  I ran the cardstock through my Xyron to add adhesive and then adding the twine was so easy.  I used ten strands of each color.  I love how pretty it came out.  It doesn’t add excess bulk to my card either.     Here is a close up of my embellishments.  Be sure to check out The Twinery store for these and […]

Thanks Treat Container

Hello!!  This is Amy here and I am excited to share a fun treat container that you can share with friends and family this fall season.  I started out with THIS file cut on my Silhouette and then put the box together and tied it up with some yummy Peapod, Marigold, and Cappuccino bakers twines. I cut out THIS “thanks” sentiment and then added it to the top of the box along with more of the Peapod bakers twine and a small clothes pin that I added washi tape to. Here are images of the […]

Halloween Mini Album

Hi!  Jeanne here today!  OK so you went to the farm to pick out the biggest pumpkin you could find.  You took lots of pics of the kiddos and now you need to document them!  I’ve got a cute little pumpkin album to share with lots of ways to embellish your designs with twine.   I have lots of pictures so grab a cuppa and let me take you on a trip.  All my photos were taken by the parents of my daughter’s best friend.  They were kind enough to take her to one of […]

Purr-fect Kitty

Hello everyone!!  This is Amy and I am here to share a fun layout about a long time member of our family…..out kitty Tizzy.  We have had her for about 15 1/2 years and she is still spunky, although a bit slower and not as graceful.  I had lots of fun creating this layout of her. I used the Solid Cappuccino bakers twine as a small ball of yarn and also for a play string hanging from the title and journaling block.  My kitties were cut with my Silhouette cameo and some cat files from […]

World’s Best Dad

Hello, this is Amy here to share a fun Father’s Day card with you.  I created this card for my husband…he is really into hiking and the outdoors, so I thought it would be fun to make a card for him that uses this cutting file and created a pair of hiking boots that I laced with some Cappuccino bakers twine. Instead of cutting the laces out, I just used a paper piercer and poked the holes.  I then threaded the bakers twine through them with a large needle.  Take a closer look at those […]
