St. Patrick’s Day Twine Tassel & Shamrock Garland

We have a special guest on our blog today…and she’s sharing her adorable St. Patrick’s Day twine tassel & shamrock garland — perfect for today!

First things first, meet Beth of Beth’s Custom Creations! She’s our special blog guest today!Beth

Beth is a dear, crafty friend of The Twinery…she’s known around here as the Wreath, Sign & Home Decor lady! And her work is amazing! Her wreaths adorn many homes here in our town!!! If you’d like to see her work (HIGHLY recommended), visit her Facebook page…seriously, you’ll be amazed!beth logo

Beth created a fun twine tassel & shamrock garland for us today…take a peek!

Full Shamrock Garland

She used several GREEN shade of twine to create this! Our Peapod Stripe & Peapod Solid twine to be exact!

To create the garland…gather up some supplies, including: twine, scissors, foam shamrock shapes, a hole punch, a thick needle & a ruler.

Supplies 1

Now you’re all set to create the garland!

First things first, measure out how much twine you’ll need to create the size garland you want for your mantle, wall or area of choice. Then punch holes in the foam shamrocks to be able to string them through the twine later.

Next, you’ll need to make some fun twine tassels (if you’ve visited our blog before, you know that these are some of our favorite things to make with twine)!! See twine tassel ‘how to’ HERE

Beth created fun tassels with just her hands…

Pretty easy peasy, right?!

But oh so cute!

Finally, all you need to do is thread your twine through the foam shamrocks and tassels, alternating each one to create the look you want!

And that’s it! Super simple, but so perfect! You can use this same concept to create any banner for any season or holiday!

We were so honored to have Beth with us today! We’d love if you stop by her Facebook page and say hello and show her some LOVE! Tell her The Twinery sent you!
