Mahalo

Hello friends, Jennifer here today to share with you some cute little gift bags I made for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party!  While Amelia doesn’t turn two until Friday, we celebrated her birthday party last weekend with about 40 friends and family.  I found a cute little Hawaiian-themed tutu and t-shirt a couple of months ago and decided to go with a luau theme.  While lamenting that I didn’t have anything handmade for her party, I decided to make tags to go on the gift bags we were giving to the kids in attendance.

I layered some different patterned papers on some medium tags (approx 4×3″) and then tore some kraft card stock to look like sand.  I stamped, die cut, and colored the little hula girls and the palm trees and adhered them to the tags.  I finished the tags with a stamped sentiment, a few sequins, Stickles, and Glossy Accents (for the coconuts.)  The final touch were some wonderful marigold stripe and solid blossom twine tassels.

Thanks so much for visiting today and have a wonderful day!
