Clown Nose Valentines

Valentine’s Day is almost here…but there’s still time to create some adorable Valentine’s Day favors – perfect for neighborhood kids, classrooms or even Sunday School classes!

My kids’ classrooms are “food free” for holiday party favors (mainly for allergy concerns, etc), so we always have to get super creative when it comes to handing out favors…and this year, my kids came up with a GREAT idea (I was so proud of them)!!!

Clown Nose Valentine Favors - The Twinery

They saw clown noses in their favorite Oriental Trading Company catalog (their favorite mail day is when that comes in the mail!!!) and we all agreed that they would make a perfect Valentine’s Day treat for their classmates! Food free and fun! Check and check!

If you don’t have time to order from Oriental Trading or have a local party supply store near you, you can find the clown noses online HERE (and there’s still time to order if you have a Prime Account) or check the party supply section of your local big box store or craft store.

The only thing we needed to do was think up a “punny” saying and I think we hit it on the “nose” with this one (yes, that pun was intended, too!)

Clown Nose Valentines Tag Closeup - The TwineryWith just a few other supplies and our adorable FREE printable tags…you’ll have a ‘custom’ and fabulous Valentine’s Day party favor to hand out!

Here’s what we used to create them…

Clown Nose Valentines Tags - The Twinery

We created the tags to fit the EK Success Large Tag Punch, but we also made tags with guide lines to use scissors or a paper cutter if you do not have the punch handy.

We created a few colorways for the tags – red, purple + blue – just in case you want some variety!

We recommend printing the tags with an inkjet or laser printer on card stock or cover weight paper. For best results, we love to use a Matte Photo Paper.

An easy and food free Valentine’s Day treat…that’s sure to get a giggle!

Saw your comment on the ClearBags facebook page, thanks for sharing your post with us. I know it’s no longer Feb, but this idea is extremely cute and is bookmarked for the future.
